Who says $1,000 per seat is too much? Probably the minimal tax payers of New Hampshire. The University of New Hampshire paid $17,570 for a 16 seat table.
Associated Press:
The University of New Hampshire now acknowledges that spending $17,000 on a custom-made chef's table with LED lights for the campus dining hall was a mistake. Initially, university officials thought the light-up table would allow the dining staff to interact with students and demonstrate healthy cooking techniques. But word soon got out about the $17,570 price tag on the 16-seat table, which was installed several weeks ago. The school newspaper wrote about it, and other media outlets picked up on it. The table costs nearly as much as in-state students pay annually for tuition and fees. On Friday, UNH spokeswoman Erika Mantz told The Associated Press that having a chef's table was a good idea, but much less money should have been spent. The university plans to keep the table.
I don't think I understand this fully. So they bought a glow in the dark table for $17,000? That seems like a bit much. But if that is what they are in the market for I got a exotic pink panther I would love to sell them.
Pink Panther collection, I hate that fucking show/movie whatever it is. I think the real question is who thought that students want to talk to dining hall staff? I barely want to talk to other people, why would I want a to hold a conversation with a 40 year old who dropped out of High School? Ingenious, lets just let the Trump supporters and the Bernie supporters finally recognize each other. Then they can have a full on battle to the death. Whoever the last standing supports, shall be our next President. It's kinda like when they have Octupus, or Dolphins predict the winner of the Superbowl. It just has to happen, it was foretold by a Bilateria Cephalopoda so it has to be true.
I guess it is not that bad for the Shire, I mean hey they don't pay sales tax!
Not a lot of people realize, New Hampshire has the word Shire in it and it is a totally backwards state with fucked up laws. That might be a bit harsh but you can be arrested and jailed for possession of any amount of Marijuana. Don't believe me?
I will concede that came from a pro weed website, who is attempting to legalize pot in NH. Doesn't mean they are lying. Check out this official site, scroll down the page a tiny bit and you will see a paragraph detailing exactly what this chart does.
A buddy of mine once told me a crazy story from when he was visiting UNH. He claimed that he was walking back to a different buddies place after a party. He was walking with a group of people and walking in front of his group was a smaller group of a couple guys drinking beers. Out of nowhere a cop car comes crashing into the sidewalk and two cops quickly from the barely parked vehicle. One of the cops, in a full sprint, leaves his feet and tackles the shit out of one kid. What kind of state has cops that do that? Weird ass ones. I love UNH, I've been there almost a million times and it's a great time. The kids are chill and the campus is dope, but the police and laws are fucked. Comments are closed.
