a blog by La Kifo It's kind of ridiculous that we are still talking about this 4-game suspension for "withholding evidence" from the NFL. It has been more than a year since this happened, but we are nearing the end of this saga. The 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in Manhattan blocked the appeal laid out by the NFLPA, Brady and his representation. A 2-1 decision affirmed that Goodell was within his rights, stipulated in the CBA (Common Bargaining Agreement) to suspend Brady.
Nellie Drew, A sports law professor, had this to say in regards to Brady's chances of having his appeal heard by the Supreme Court, "That is an extremely long shot". Drew also went on to say that the appeals court acted correctly, and any changes to how the NFL handles arbitration/discipline will have to be resolved when negotiating a new CBA. She also stated Jimmy Garoppolo, "will be getting a whole lot of repetitions". Her final remarks stung, "It's time to put this thing to bed, If it was my kid, I'd say: 'Let it go.'"Of course Drew is saying this, she's from Buffalo. She teaches at the University of Buffalo. This bitch is as conceded as you can get. Of course she wants Brady to stop fighting, of course the remaining options are a "long shot". Drew doesn't want to see Brady suited up for the entire season next year, not just the first four games. Fuck all these New Yorkers, sorry that your teams haven't seen the light of day for the past... what... 10, 20 years? Just because your sports teams suck, does not mean you have to shit all over our athletes when they have been clearly wronged. It's hard for someone from Buffalo, or the non-Giants fans parts of New York to be objective when it comes to Patriots and Tom Brady. I don't know how I'd feel if one dude and one team kept coming into my house and fucking shit up. Probably not good. Brady will have his eyes set on the Supreme Court, collectively we must hope that our justice system can see logic. Comments are closed.
