Thoughts on KD going to Golden State

I know this is way past due, but it's been a busy past few days. Let's breakdown the biggest news West of the Mississippi.
When I heard the news of KD heading to Golden State, I happened to be tripping balls on the beach. So I was able to really think hard about the situation, and I still don't know how I feel about this. Golden State is now absolutely packed with offensive talent. Not to mention they were able to cut loose Bogut and Barnes while adding Zaza Pachulia, a very underrated big man in the league. I'm not saying Zaza will make a massive impact on the  team, however he is a phenomenal rebounder who averaged 9.4 boards per game last season with the Mavs.

As far as the actual signing of KD goes, I'm pretty fucking pissed that the NBA would allow this to happen. I thought for sure KD was going to stay with the Thunder, but the fact that Adam Silver is okay with Golden State having 4 All Star's on one team is mind blowing to me. The Warriors have been to the finals the past two season and have a two time MVP still on their roster. Now they add Durant who's a 5 time scoring champion and the MVP before Curry. Makes no sense. I'm not just saying all of this because I'm a Celtics fan either. I didn't necessarily expect Durant to sign with us. I just have no idea how the Warriors were able to swing this deal and get the NBA to agree to it. Even Isaiah Thomas of the Celtics shared his thoughts on the situation.

If you use the warriors in 2k17 your automatically weak lol.

Small dig from the tiny little point guard there. But he's right, on paper this team should be UNBEATABLE. Now tons of sports media guys have been talking all week about how they are not the same Warriors team, and that the Warriors were so good last year because of their bench play. However, a good team doesn't need 12 good players. A great team only needs about 8 guys to pull it off, and as we speak the Warriors have a solid 8 players.

Kevin Durant
Stephen Curry
Draymond Green
Klay Thompson
Andre Iguodala
Zaza Pachulia
Shawn Livingston
Kevin Looney - Who's on the come up
Patrick McCaw

AND there's rumors going around that Ray Allen has reached out to the Warriors looking to sign a 1 year deal for the veteran minimum of 1.4 mill. If Ray Allen signs to the Warriors for next season, the Warriors will be the greatest 3 point shooting team of all time.

If that happens I'll be just as pissed as everyone else, however at the same time I'd love to watch the Warriors absolutely dominate next season, and if it means they'll snatch a title out from Lebron James dingus then I'm fine with it. Everyone's upset at how good the Warriors will be next year, however when the Warriors are not playing your favorite team next year, they are going to be fun as FUCK to watch. I'm sure it's going to take a few games for Golden State to get their shit together, but they'll figure out how to play as a group after the first 15 games or so. Can't wait for the preseason to roll around, and to see how each team stacks up against these guys, but for now we'll just have to wait and see what guys the Warriors add to their already stacked lineup.
