a blog by Schoolboy Jew Jumpman Jumpan Jumpman these boys can do nothing! It truly is amazing the kind of impact a regular reason sports game can have on your life. The 2016 Detroit Tigers are a prime example of this, and as I write this post, they are on a horrid skid of losing eleven out of their last twelve games. Now, at this point, you're probably thinking "it's just a meaningless regular season game, it's just a bad stretch, what does it matter?" Well, here's why it matters. Every time my friends and I hang out, we like to watch the Tigers. Even when they are in a stretch like this, we still watch them. On May 12th, the Tigers took on the Baltimore Orioles. My friends and I were hanging out at my house having a great time, and then the Tigers decided to choke away a five run lead in the span of one inning. They would go on to lose that game 7-5, and from then on, that night was not the same. We were all just in a garbage mood because when your team can't hold a five run lead, there is no reason to smile. Maybe this is just me, but when you're as big a baseball fan as my friends and I are, your team can partially make or break your summer. Hopefully, the Tigers can turn things around before it's too late.
