You may know about Blizzard Entertainment from such games as Starcraft, World of Warcraft or the Diablo trilogy. Blizzard entertainment is stepping into new territory now though with their first new IP in almost 20 years.
The company has never released a first person shooter before in it's history, but says they are excited about the new venture. Speaking personally I am beyond excited for this game to release May 24th, the reason I wanted to write a brief article about it now is that I've preordered it and for those who pre-ordered you were allowed early access to the game starting this week and so I've been playing. The hype is real ladies and gentlemen. This is the revival of the class based shooter. People will always play Call of Duty and mindless FPS' but this for lack of a better term "trumps" all those games. "Make FPS' great again". For those of you that played Team Fortress 2 it has a very similar feel to this game with an extremely polished look as is Blizzards mainstay as a company. Check out this awesome trailer they released at their convention about 2 years ago below.
