Audition tapes for The Office

Ahh The Office, everyones favorite show to binge watch. You can put on just about any episode, even if you've seen it 10 times and you'll still laugh at the cringeworthy performances from Steve Carell. Have you ever thought about what the show would have been like if it was casted differently? Well I saw this audition video on Iron Horse's timeline today and I knew I just had to share it. 

Great video, I could not picture the office with the Kevin being played by Eric Stonestreet, one of the actors playing a gay man on Modern Family. And what about Seth Rogen auditioning for Dwight. I could see that being funny for a few episodes of the show, but I just couldn't picture good Jim and Dwight moments between Seth Rogen and John Krasinski, 

Thank god the show was casted the way it was, because it's fucking perfect. I wouldn't change anything about it. Call me dumb, but I just recently found out that the UK version of the Office is like identical to the American version. So i knew that they were based off each other, but I thought all the characters and episodes were different. Recently I watched like 2-3 episodes from season one of the UK show, and they are the exact same episode. Every fucking line of the show is the exact same. I was completely appalled. The American version is SO much funnier than the UK its not even close. I'll post a couple highlights from both shows so you guys can be the judge.
