a blog by Big Red A man driving a Chevrolet Camaro was clocked going 171 mph on a Northern Minnesota highway on friday night. He was later clocked again and caught going 148 mph. The Big Story - DULUTH, Minn. (AP) — Authorities say a driver was cited after he was clocked driving 171 mph in northern Minnesota. The Star Tribune reports Deputy Chief Shawn Padden of the Hermantown Police Department stopped a Chevrolet Camaro that was clocked at 171 mph and later 148 mph north of Duluth. Padden was working DWI enforcement Friday night on Highway 61 between Duluth and Two Harbors, and he gave chase and caught up to the driver. The driver, a 36-year-old man, was cited for careless driving. Padden says the man didn't really provide a reason for speeding on the highway. 171 mph? Are you fucking kidding me. I'm shocked the cop cars were even able to top 110. Good for them for being able to catch up to this guy, but holy shit is that fast. If this was another state, like Northern California, I'd say throw this guy in jail. The fact that its Northern Minnesota I'm actually okay with this. Up until this article, I had no idea we had even populated Northern Minnesota. Theres no way there was anyone else on that highway. I'd be shocked to hear that there was. Since there was no video of it, I'll post a couple of good driving videos that I can find. Craziest video, I legit get anxiety watching him do this. I feel like he could crash any moment even though I've seen it before. If you guys didn't understand, basically two dudes with nasty cars were racing each other and they passed a cop going 220. Absolutely unbelievable. Hope you guys enjoyed the blog, for more stories and news follow us on twitter @ForTheBoys_Blog
