Unfortunately did not get to catch the whole game, I tuned in with about 7 minutes left. Got a lot of love for Ben Simmons. He's a near seven footer who has ball handling like a guard, agility, athleticism, and defensive ability. He's also got a high basketball IQ, he can pass and make mind bottling dunks. Pretty much the whole package. Will be one of the first names called on draft night by Muppet man Adam Silver. Just as I started watching Buddy Hield went off. Hit back to back threes late in the game to regain the lead for Oklahoma and ended the night 32 points and seven rebounds. I did not see him rebound much late in the game either he got most his boards early on or I was too concentrated on eating my tacos. The last possession in the game for Oklahoma was odd as Isiah Cousins held for the final shot, parking Hield on the free throw line. As time expired, Cousins beat Jalyn Paterson and by a few inches got a pull shot to drain with less then 10 seconds left. It worked and it caused LSU to panic with a timeout remaining and allow Tim Quartermen to run the length of the court to take a highly contested layup that was blocked. Quartermen always does that shit, been watching lotta LSU ball lately. And for a team with that much talent, they are a disappointment. Quartermen and Blakeney, the self professed greatest scorer in high school, play way to much hero ball taking the ball out of Simmons hands. They need to run the offense through Simmons and let Quartermens and Blakeneys game develop off of Simmons. Such a shame, up by 10 early in the second half and a win over the #1 team would have been huge for their tournament resume. Tacos were great, can never go wrong with tacos. Except maybe Taco Falls What he packing down there a stick of pepperoni?
