a blog by Big Red Josh Jackson, the number 3 on ESPN's Top 100 commits to Kansas earlier tonight. Kansas needed a good signing after losing Perry Ellis and Wayne Seldon to the NBA. Josh Jackson a Senior 6'7 SF out of Michigan announced earlier tonight that he will be attending Kansas University next year. If you guys remember the day after the national championship game I wrote a blog about the top 10 high school guys and where they are playing next year. Well, Josh Jackson was the only guy still undecided. He had narrowed his decision down to Michigan State, Arizona, and Kansas. Luckily Kansas scooped him up, and are able to fill Wayne Seldon's spot. Josh Jackson's game is electric. He hustles on both ends of the court, and if you've seen his highlight reel the guy can fucking jump. In my last blog that I mentioned him in, I talked about how I think he's a lot like Andrew Wiggins. The comparisons will continue to flow in considering he just committed to the same school Wiggins attended. Much like Andrew Wiggins, Jackson needs to work on his jump shot. However, he can easily get into the paint, and all of his highlights look incredible. A few months back Jackson was asked what he thought about Bill Self, the head coach of Kansas. Jackson was quoted saying, "I love Coach Self, I love the way he coaches his players. Pushes them, makes them better. When I took my official visit there, I got this real good feeling that they were all about family. You could really trust people there." I wish I had heard that earlier, and I would have 100% had known he'd be going to Kansas. I can't wait to see how he'll fit in with Frank Mason III and Devonte Graham, but I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
