USA vs Canada in a slugfest.....guess who won
So yesterday, the Toronto Blue Jays and the Texas Rangers played in a rubber match to see who would take this weekend series. However, these teams have some bad blood. If you remember last October, these two squads faced each other in the first round of the MLB playoffs. It was going very well for Texas until they made three errors in a row, which lead to this.
Now, after the game, the Rangers were understandably very upset with Bautista. He did a ridiculous bat flip that is looked at by some as just over the top and unnecessary. So in the eighth inning, the Rangers got a little revenge on Joey Bats as he came up to the plate with his team trailing by one.
Now, let me say something about the guy on the mound, Matt Bush. The guy throws upper nineties and if you're wondering why you haven't heard of him, that's because he spent the last three years behind bars. He was also the first overall pick in the 2004 MLB draft, but that's besides the point. Back to Bautista, he obviously didn't like being hit by this pitch. The next pitch is a ground ball, and with Bautista bearing down on Rougned Odor at second, this takes place. Watch what happens next because it was absolutely epic. Take a look.
Best punch in basebrawl history? I think so. USA, baby!
