According to a video released by TMZ sports, Johnny Manziel former Browns quarterback and Heisman winner is living with Super Bowl MVP Von Miller.

In the video from TMZ Manziel talks directly to the camera, saying he is living with former Texas A&M aggie Von Miller. He said, "We're getting our lives back together, bro". Manziel was linked to the QB-less Broncos last week when it was reported that Gary Kubiak, another former Texas A&M Aggie, had met with Manziel.

The speculation behind the Broncos signing Manziel fell when it became clear the team was not ready to sign him at this point. The Broncos want to see what will happen with his recent legal battle and potential NFL discipline.

The Broncos will most likely look to sign Manziel if the consequences he faces are minimal and they have not acquired San Francisco quarterback Colin Kaepernick. But the team just traded Ryan Clady to the New York Jets, a move that saves the team around $8.9 million in cap space. The Clady trade was not surprising as the Broncos signed both Russel Okung and Donald Stephenson. Two top level tackles in free agency, it was more a matter of time when it came to Cladys roster spot. Before the deal the Broncos had around $300,000 in cap space.

If the Broncos want to acquire Kaepernick, they will need to make additional moves to free up space. A report surfaced recently that the San Fran QB would be willing to take a pay cut but not the amount that the Broncos insinuated. In the report by CBS sports, one possibility would be restructuring into a two year deal worth $21.5 million. This would make his base salary $10.75 million both years. If the Broncos agreed to that deal right now, it would leave the team with no space to sign any potential rookie draft picks.

Either the Broncos make a couple more moves to save cap space, trade for Kaepernick or they stay content, wait for news on Manziels disciplinary actions and depending on the severity of that they will decide where to go.

I am not one of those people who says Manziel should not be signed to teach him a lesson. Fuck who says that. This is a sport, and if the dude can play, give him a contract. It is totally up to Manziel to make his own decisions on the field and off. If he makes shitty ones then let his fate be as it was in Cleveland. If he can change his life, then he could be a good starting QB.

The biggest problem with this situation is Manziel and Kaepernick have very similar game. Manziel relys on his legs agility, and quick cut ability. Kaepernick also relys on his legs but speed rather than agility. Both players have questionable to bad accuracy deep and in between throws. With Manziel you have an ego problem, a guy who at times acts like he is bigger than the game, in Kaepernick you have a confidence/mental toughness problem, when things went wrong for him it just got worse. So you have to pick the lesser of two evils, at this point I don't know which one is which.

If I was John Elway I would wait and see what happens with Manziel. If things do not go bad for him in court and NFL disciplinary hearings, then you can give him a short term deal for little money and little risk. Have him play a manager role on the field and let your defense run rampant again. The Broncos didnt need a QB last year, why would they need one this year?
