a blog by La Kifo Some of you may, most of you don't, know that when this blog posts to the Internet, I will be in Japan. Japan or Chicago.
I'm heading to Chicago the day after the Cubbies won the World Series to celebrate and talk to the good people of the Chicago O’Hara Airport. I will be staying with the fine folk of Chicago for no longer than an hour. As my flight to Japan will be leaving the Chicago area at 1:00 pm EST I'm guessing. Now, some of you may ask why I am venturing out to Japan, and that answer is something else entirely. To save you the long overdrawn response you may usually get from me, I'm going to Japan for you. I will be documenting all of my experiences there as I aim to temporarily adopt the Japanese culture. Hopefully, this will be a positive experience for all involved. The Japanese people as well as myself have but a minor idea of what will happen. If you have followed us from somewhere in the middle, you may remember my attempts to attend Japan festival in Boston. If you remember my attempt, you may also remember the failure that was the attempt. That failure has motivated me to take my investigation into Japanese culture a step further. Now that I will be touching ground on the sacred island, I will finally be able to learn and adapt towards the Japanese ways which have eluded me to this point. Hopefully I get to post this in Chicago, beer in hand and my personal bubble restored. Peace out, and anyone I forgot to tell I was going to Japan, this is my way of telling you. Comments are closed.
