Has Anyone Else Noticed How Shitty Resident Evil Movies are?

The trailer for the sixth and final installment (hopefully) of the Resident Evil movie series dropped today.

So Resident Evil was a video game before it was a shitty movie series. The OG game was one of those arcade rail shooters, that arcade game was the best Resident Evil ever will be. The worst part about the games is they have stuck to the arcade rail shooter mechanics. You are not allowed to shoot will on the move, which is a big no-no for me. 

I can understand that it makes the game challenging and actually requires strategy, but still that shit ain't for me. Zombies needed to be rounded up, using quick agile moves not some stop and go shit. With that being said, the games are still iconic and most of them received high ratings. Just because I didn't like them doesn't mean they are not good. 

On the other hand, I don't like the live action movies and anyone who says they do is a moron. There is no way around it, just like the games, Resident Evil the movie series was good for one movie. As soon as they started to stretch the plot, the movies took a nose dive in ever facet you could imagine related to rating a movie. 

A big thing that really fucked with me was the divergence movie after movie, from the original video game plot. I didn't even play the games and I could tell that the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th movies had nearly nothing to do with the games plot. They essentially took the games, boiled them down, stuck them in the oven for half a day making them nice and malleable, then cut out 95% of it and served it cold on a wet plate. 

I don't really wanna shit on Resident Evil that hard, it keeps Milla Jovovich off of unemployment. 

She's 40 and still looks pretty fucking good.
