Thanks to the bench of the Golden State Warriors, they were able to beat the Cavaliers in Game 1 of the 2016 NBA Finals. Final score was 104-89.
For any of you bums that missed last nights game, heres a recap.
In a game where the Splash Brothers were inconsistent, it was nice to see guys like Iguodala, Barbosa, and Livingston step up. This is the reason the Warriors were so unstoppable all year. Their bench kept their lead for them the entire game, and finally toward the end of the game Curry and company started to heat up a bit. Meanwhile Lebron James was inconsistent from quarter to quarter.

While he ended the game shooting 45%. He finished with just 23 points on 21 shots, and went 0-4 in the 2nd quarter. If the Cavs are going to win this series, Lebron is going to have to do A LOT better. It's a long series, and the Cavs have plenty of time to bounce back. However, Steph Curry and Klay Thompson sure as hell don't plan on missing as many shots as they did last night.
