a blog by Big Red The Warriors bounced back and pulled out a 9 point win over OKC last night, 120-111. For those of you who missed last nights game, here's a recap of how it went down. The Warriors were able to come out strong, maintaining a lead throughout the entire game. Curry and Thompson had a weak start combining for only 3/10 shooting through the first 5-6 minutes of the game. One of the biggest turn around players was Draymond Green. While he didn't put out crazy numbers, he did play great defense. While making multiple big time plays to keep possessions alive. Draymond finished the game with 11 points, 13 rebounds, 4 assists, 4 blocks, and 1 steal. So I guess I have to bite my tongue and say I was wrong, and that Steve Kerr was right to start him last night.
Not only did Draymond bounce back, but so did Stephen Curry. The MVP finished game 4 with a measly 19 points, while last night he filled the stat sheet. Finishing with 31 points, 7 rebounds, 6 assists, and 5 steals. One of the main things I took away from the game, is that Curry ALWAYS has a shit ton of turnovers. He plays so wild that its bound to happen, but 5 turnovers is too many for a playoff game. Luckily Draymond was able to limit his turnovers to just 2 which is pretty low for him. The Thunder now lead the series 3-2, as the Warriors look to pull out another win on the road in OKC tomorrow night at 9 p.m. eastern time. Game 6 can be watched on TNT, and everyone should tune in.
