Freddie Freeman Hits The First Cycle of 2016

The Braves finally have something to celebrate in 2016!
The Atlanta Braves are a storied baseball franchise with a long rich history of success and pride. However, this year has been nothing close to that. They currently have the worst record in the MLB with 20 wins and 46 losses. To put that in perspective, the Chicago Cubs have the best record in the MLB and the Cubs have as many losses as the Braves have wins. Not good. But on Wednesday, Braves' all star first baseman Freddie Freeman had himself quite a night. He hit for the first cycle of the year, and the first cycle for the Braves since Mark Kotsay in 2008, finishing it off in the 11th with a single. Take a look.
Now, to anyone who says "this happens all the time," shut up because you're wrong. A cycle occurs almost as often as a no hitter, both of which are incredibly difficult. Freeman's cycle was the 309th since 1882, which is pretty rare. Congrats Freddie!
