a blog by Big Red A florida woman is facing charges of grand theft and defraud, for stealing 100 grand from SeaWorld. The Orlando Sentinel - A former SeaWorld manager was arrested and accused of stealing more than $100,000 over three years by voiding the sale of park tickets and pocketing the cash, records show. Lisa Olivardia, 50, faces charges of grand theft and scheming to defraud. She was released from the Orange County Jail on a $105,000 bond Monday. Olivardia, a guest relations supervisor, allegedly told investigators that she took the money so she could pay for her debt, court records show. Olivardia would cover for cashiers when they went on break, then allegedly void a few ticket sales and place the corresponding amount of cash into a white envelope, records show. Here's our culprit, if you guys would like to put a face to the name. Sometimes it's the people we least expect that will do the crazy shit like this. Should she really get in trouble though? After all she claims to have used the money to pay off her debt. Let's just cut her a break this time! I wonder exactly how much debt she has?
This woman's an idiot for continuing to do this. If I was this librarian, and I had gotten away with pocketing money from SeaWorld for this long, I would have stopped after about a year. Chances are that she would have gotten away with it, if she had just stopped after a year or so. How did no one notice this for 3 fucking years. SeaWorld is a huge business, and I get that she probably wasn't taking that much money each day, but for christ sake she took over 100 grand in 3 years. How the fuck does 100 grand go missing and no one notices? When I first read the title of this article, I thought maybe this woman stole a dolphin and sold it on the black market. But I got to respect this woman's hustle. Don't fuck with Lisa boys, this woman is a g in my book. Comments are closed.
