Evan Turner signs a fat contract with Portland

Evan Turner says peace to Boston, as he packs his bags and heads to Portland to join the Trail Blazers.

Its official Evan Turner is LEAVING BOSTON FOR GOOD! What a glorious day for the city of Boston, as we cut some of our dead weight. Hopefully The Celtics will not be turning the ball over nearly as much next season. Don't get me wrong, Turner made some BIG TIME plays for the Celtics the past two seasons, however it came at a big cost. Numerous times throughout the season, Turner would make one nice play followed by 2-3 selfish plays costing the Celtics a possession. Not to mention, it was frequently talked about how he had trouble getting along with guys in the locker room. So, I am more than happy to see him go. 

Turner does deserve some credit here, because I don't know how the fuck this dude got such a fat contract. His agent deserves some big props on this deal. Turner signed a 4 year deal worth 70 MILLION DOLLARS. How the fuck is Evan Turner worth 17.5 million dollars a year? I wonder if the Celtics even made him an offer, because that number is literally outstanding. For Christ's sake, LaMarcus Aldridge is getting a little over 19 million a year.. The Trail Blazers might have just made one of the biggest mistakes in their franchises history. I guess we'll just have to wait and see. 

Farewell Evan Turner, your time in Boston was a blessing as much as it was a curse.
