VANDALIA — A Dayton man punched a Vandalia police officer in the face during an incident at the Waffle House on East National Road earlier this month.
Police said Deontaye Trammell, 20, was asked to leave the restaurant on March 1 and when officers arrived he was standing in the front doorway of the business, according to an incident report.
Officers asked Trammell to move from the restaurant entrance, however police said when they grabbed Trammell’s arm he resisted arrest and eventually punched one officer and injured a second officer.
The two officers were transported to the hospital for treatment, but are expected to be OK.
Officers found Trammell to be in possession of suspected marijuana in addition to $475 in cash, police said.
Trammell was convicted on a single count of assault and resisting arrest. He is scheduled to be sentenced on April 6.
To start us all off here, I'm pretty sure this Deontaye Trammell guy is just a nickname for Jaden Smith. Like I'm 99% sure thats the heir to the fresh prince throne.
I almost think if this Tremmell guy just tells the police he's Jaden Smith, then this whole who punched who situation will go right away.
But seriously, who the fuck thinks its ever a good idea to punch a cop? Like there is never a scenario that will ever go threw my head where I'll think "Hey, I know this guys just asking me to leave the restaurant, but I think I can knock him out and run away". There was two cops there, so did he think he would KO the first guy, and the second cop would just let him leave.
I think the real question here is who would ever try to emasculate a cop in a breakfast diner. When you hear the word "cop" you immediatey think of a fat ass. Or at least I do. What do these fat ass cops love more than anything? Breakfast food. I bet this Waffle House, was these cops go to spot, and now it's blown the fuck the up. Bonehead move by Jaden here, and if you ask me he did it all because of the pot.
Stoners often freak out when they're stoned around a cop. They get inside their own heads, and you always think the cop just knows your high and is always looking at you. Now when I'm stoned in public and cross paths with a cop I usually try not to punch him in his face, but sometimes shit just happens in the moment. So while I totally feel for the guy here, he brought it on himself here.
*Quick message to the people who might read this story and then vote against legalizing marijuana, NOT ALL STONERS like to punch cops in their face. Just the dumb ones*
