a blog by Big Red The Cavs put a beat down on the Raptors last night, with a final score of 108-89. Cleveland now leads the series 2-0. For anyone that missed the game last night, here is a quick recap of it. So that sucked, and so has the rest of the playoffs. I used to look forward to the playoffs every year, and other than the Pacers vs. Raptors series, the playoffs have sucked. Even the Miami vs Toronto series sucked, especially once Whiteside went down. I guess that's what we get when have unbelievably dominant guys like Lebron James and Steph Curry taking the league by storm. While the playoffs have sucked so far, I'm confident that the NBA finals will be crazy. So anyways, The Cavs last night came out strong, and much like the Warriors the night before, let the other team stick around for most of the first half. Once the start of the 3rd quarter came around, the Cavs took the game over. Demolishing the Raptors in every facet of the game. Lebron even managed to add yet another highlight reel dunk to his career. Defensively the Raptors NEED to step it up. Of course, going back to Toronto for game 3 and 4 should help them a little, but if they decide to play flat footed like they did tonight, then there's a good chance this series could be another sweep for the Cavs. Talk about one of the easiest runs to the finals we've ever seen. The Cavs have been able to rest their starters in almost every game of the playoffs. I hate Lebron so much, but he's been playing pretty unbelievable in this post season. Game 3 starts Saturday at 8:30 eastern time and can be watched on ESPN. Hopefully, we don't have to watch another shitty game like this.
