Just Like I said Infinity Ward drops COD: Infinite Wars Trailer, confirming Modern Warfare reboot5/2/2016
a blog by La Kifo Earlier today the new Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare reveal trailer dropped along with many jaws. The trailer shows concepts we've grow to love about the franchise and new aspects that look to take the game to a whole new level. A lot of rumors swirled around about the new Call of Duty theme and geography. The big rumor was that the new COD was going to take place largely in space, a frontier that the franchise has never embarked upon before. What should we expect? Who knows but anyone who preorders the legacy edition will receive a remastered version of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. The game that changed all games. If you don't believe me, take a look for yourself. I never preorder games. Usually the gift is some stupid bullshit, like the preorder gift that came with The Witcher III was a necklace. Not an in-game pendant that gave away special abilities, a real life replica of a Witcher necklace. Sorry but I don't want to pay you for something that is not even available yet. In this case though, I will be 100% preordering. I most likely, won't even play the main game. All I have been waiting for is a next gen reboot of COD 4. Ever since 2012 and the release of the next gen systems, that is all I have craved. Now it is so close I can taste it. Seriously though, this preorder deal has to be the best preorder deal of all time. $80 for an iconic classic game + brand new call of duty. That has to be the best deal in the history of deals.
You would think we partnered with Infinity Ward to promote this game, but we didn't. We should have, they should have called us, or emailed. Whatever though, there is always next time. Don't drop the ball Infinity Ward. Personally, I am excited to see what the Ward does with their first sci-fi installation. The developers of this franchise have never lacked an engaging story mode. The real question is what will the multiplayer be like? Black Ops 3 was probably the worst cohesive multiplayer setup to date. Nothing made sense, the maps were tiny, if you're team was smart they could spawn kill almost the entire game, fighting was always concentrated in the same few choke points on every map. Competitively, those factors can make for good ranked play (for serious gamers), but the casual fan or noob could not get into the game without have a K/D spread at .4. My favorite recent installation in the Call of Duty franchise was Advanced Warfare. Yea I know a lot of people absolutely hated it but those people are fucking noobs. It was a whole different way to play Call of Duty and it honestly refreshed my interest in the franchise. Quick movement, and accuracy were huge in that game, things that a lot of casual noobs can not comprehend. I also loved that game because of the Zombies. Yes, I also know that nearly everyone hated that Zombies. I didn't, because I was actually good at it. I was probably top 10 best player in the world at Advanced Warfare Zombies. I could get past level 30 with or without camping, regularly on any of those levels. Didn't matter split screen, solo, or full online party, I could take anyone to the promised land with me. The official release date for the game is set to November 4th. Get ready for a whole new world of shooting. Comments are closed.
