Californian Scientists are Attempting to Create a Human-Animal Hybrid Chimera

Lemme be clear, these scientists are not trying to make the creature as depicted above. These scientists, from UC Davis, are attempting to combine human and animal cells in an effort to harvest transplant organs.
Let's start off the with the definition of Chimera, "A genetic chimerism or chimera (also spelled chimaera) is a single organism composed of cells from different zygotes. This can result in male and female organs, two blood types, or subtle variations in form." This is basically what they were doing in the Jurassic Park movies, if that helps. Now to the article:

Tech Radar:

Researchers at the University of California, Davis are looking to create human-animal hybrid embryos known as chimeras, which they believe could serve as better animal models for studies on how people develop diseases and how these illnesses progress.

While earlier studies have explored the potential benefits of developing plant and animal chimeras, research on the use of human cells for the practice is strictly prohibited by many world governments. They believe creating chimeras using human and animal cells violates the dignity of being human.

UC Davis researchers John Powers and Ryan Troy are challenging this notion in their study. Despite admitting that creating human-animal chimeras for research is a controversial subject, the two scientists claim that it doesn't pose a threat to human dignity.

In fact, experiments on chimeras could be used to develop human organs grown in farm animals, which could then be transplanted into patients with terminal illnesses.

I hope that I am not the only one who sees a major problem here. Whether or not they want to hide behind the excuse of studying diseases and creating harvest-able transplant organs, is up to them but I know what they are up to.

Has anyone even heard of UC Davis? Why isn't UC Berkley or UCLA doing this? Maybe scientists at those schools actually know better, and don't hate humanity. Nothing good can come from this "Animal-Human Hybrid". Either they will end up creating a new species of human, superior to us in every way or they will create monstrosities who will be enslaved until they rise up and revolt.

It's like these guys have never watched a movie in their entire life. This is essentially the plot to 40% of movies.

If you've seen Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice, you will understand this reference. If not, I won't ruin it for you. Is it a coincidence that if you spell UC Davis backwards with only the first letter of each word you get DCU, and if you add a C in between C and U, you get DCCU? DCCU is also the acronym of DC Comic Universe. The same universe that has Doomsday, the walking, talking rock in the picture above.

It seems like a lot to be left up to chance. I for one, will not idly stand by as these humanity hating scientists create the next dictator and destroyer of this world. It is times like this that we need the Justice League, Fuck the Avengers.
