Bubbles from Trailer Park Boys Arrested for Domestic Battery

TMZ- "Trailer Park Boys" star Michael Smith is behind bars after witnesses say he choked a woman at Hollywood's Roosevelt Hotel.

Sources at The Roosevelt tell TMZ ... Smith, who plays Bubbles on the Netflix show, was with a female friend early Friday morning when they got into an argument in the bathrooms next to the pool. We're told guests said it sounded like the shouting was over who Smith had been texting. 

Our sources say they heard the woman yell, "you're choking me" and when they ran over ... they saw Smith pinning the woman up against the bathroom wall. Smith bolted and cops were called.

Law enforcement says Smith was booked for misdemeanor domestic battery, and released a few hours later. We've reached out to a rep for the actor ... so far, no word back.

So Bubbles choked out a bitch, and if you ask me I'm still team Bubbles. I don't promote domestic abuse at all, but Bubbles is way too funny of a character to just bail on him now. Just because he's acting a little too much like Bubbles in real life, doesn't mean we should give up on him the first time he gets arrested. Has anyone ever seen Mike Smith when he's not dressed like Bubbles? I can totally picture this fucking creep chocking out a bitch. 

That looks like one creepy ass dude. Looks so far off from cute and cuddly Bubbles. But I guess now no one can really see him the same. If your choking out a girl over a text message argument, who knows what you'll do if she really catches you cheating. Hopefully fame doesn't get him out of this one, and he's forced to get some real help. 

Anyways, season 10 of Trailer Park Boys Premiered on Netflix recently, and  I just finally finished off the season. While it clearly doesn't stack up to some of the classic first few seasons, I did like it overall. It was a nice change to see the boys doing pretty well for themselves, and I found it hilarious that they were running a drug store and a casino/bar that you can smoke pot in. The whole idea of this going on in a trailer park was cracking me up from the get go. I did not like the whole gang of lesbian jail mates that were scissoring there asses all over the place. Don't even get me started on Troy Polamalu's fat older sister who fucking forced her way into being my least favorite character of all time on the show. I loved the cameo's from some of Hollywood's best stoners. I love how right when I write a blog about where the fuck Tom Arnold has been, we get a rare sighting from him, Snoop Dogg, and Doug Benson. Here are some of my favorite scenes from the final few episodes of Season 10.

Hilarious, glad to have Tom Arnold working again. Was worried he might have died of a drug overdose or something by now, but I'm overjoyed to see he's alive and well. Adding Doug Benson to this pot head trio makes the whole scenario even funnier. Here's a video of bubbles snoop and the gang performing a song in episode 8 of season 10. 

Just so I don't give away too much about the season, I'll only post one more clip. This was one of my favorite Bubbles lines of the season, especially after hearing about what happened to Mike Smith. It makes this clip a lot funnier in my eyes. Nice attempt at Mike Smith trying to call Tom Arnold out for busting a nut in the middle of the night. 

I hope to see a bit more of improvement in the next season, but all around I thought the cameo's made for pretty funny TV. Follow us on twitter @TheTribunists and let us know what you thought about Season 10.
