So let me preview this shit. I saw this video pop up on Barstool, usually I do not like to double up blogs with the Stool. But I really wanted to get my Hot Take out there and this one is for free, no 5 cent fee here. So the guy recording the encounter on his iPhone was former military. He was talking to a couple of his friends and two random people they had just met at this mall. The big fat guy on the preview screen who comes up to the group and asks them to leave. In typical modern behavior the majority of the encounter was recorded. So Spags posted this blog and he said that both guys here, the former military guy and the mall cop are very hateable. I totally understand that take, and at first I wanted to agree. But as the video progressed, I felt for that fat fuck.
There is nothing more annoying in the world then someone random or friend taking a video or picture of you. I am talking about when your friend is trying to secretly record you or just plain annoy you. That is so fucking annoying. I hate pictures. I hate videos, unless I am the one making the video (either the cameraman or a funny character). I can not imagine getting recorded at work. And not a respectable, self fulfilling job. A shitty one like a mall cop or assistant manager at a pizza joint. I could totally see myself being in this scenario at my old job. My responsibility was to do everything that the manager did not want to and deal with pissed off customers. That job almost drove to an early liquor coffin. Not really, but it was that bad a small amount of the time. One time a father with two children no older then 8 or 10, came in all happy, paid for his food and then he turned around to see one of promotional posters. His facial expression immediately changed as he read it. The poster said, Call in a order for a medium cheese pizza after 5 pm and the amount you pay will be the time you pick it up. Something less wordy and more witty but that was the concept. Order a pizza on Monday past 5 and you total is the exact time you come in. This point in the story would be a great place to provide some more background details. We sold gluten free pizzas, one size only, I think they were like 10 inches and they cost more then the regular medium size which was like 14. Common sense right now is telling you that the poster deal does not work on gluten free pizza because the margin of profit is different, because THEY ARE TWO DIFFERENT TYPES OF PIZZA. Now the poster failed to mention the very obvious assumption that it did not include gluten free pizza. It just so happened this dad bod fuck bought two gluten free pizzas. The only thought I could get off before he turned around and torn me a new asshole was Fuck. This poster was made by the GM, general manager, the front office person. So it was professionally made. I HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH MAKING THE SIGN, NOTHING AT ALL. I dont remember entirely what this guy said but it was not nice and it was not short. He stood there yelling at me in front of his kids, other customers, and my fellow workers. All I could say to him is, Yea I know it does not specifically say Gluten Free not included but its not, and I am sorry, I will change it. Sometimes when you work a shitty job, one you really do not care for, or are stuck in. Shit like this happens. I agree with the angry dad and the former military guy, the poster should have said no gluten free pizza and talking about religion in a mall should not be a means for kicking someone out. But as it stands, those are both rules. Rules that apply to the customers as well as the employees. It is the employees job to enforce it. I cant just give you a 70% discount on two gluten free pizzas. And If I am made aware that someone is having a "loud" conversation about gospel then I have to kick you out. Regardless of whether or not I agree or share the same ideology as you. It is the fucking job. And the end of the video proves my point. The cops came and did exactly what the fat mall cop said they would do. They kicked the guy out because under the private properties rules you are not allowed to do what they were doing. The dickhead with the phone made it a lot worse by not leaving and putting up a bullshit fight he had to know he was gonna lose. Cops wouldnt just be dispatched to that mall to tell the mall cop that he can not kick them out. The operator would be like that is your problem the cops can not do anything. Do not get me wrong the fat mall cop comes off as a dick a few times. Mainly when he questions the phone camera operators military background. Dick move, if someone tells you they served you should just assume they are telling the truth. No need to make a comment as such. The real villain of this video was this crazy bitch who calls military members androids. Like what fucking conspiracy documentary are you quoting bitch. It is hard for me to say there is a person more annoying than someone taking a video of a guy at work, but that bitch was no doubt about it the worst person of the week. Or at least made a good case for it. Fuck off lady. No asked you to comment on the situation, you have zero right to know what is happening. Being an American does not mean you entitled to be a pompous douche bag and stick your nose into every little thing that happens around you. It does not give absolute freedom, where you can do absolutely whatever you want with minimal or no consequences. There is not a place in the universe like that. Of course she had just finished her starbucks iced coffee. Let me guess mocha caramel swirl? Back to the android comment, this is not the 90s anymore. Cobain is dead, Courtney Love killed him. You don't know that though and you also don't know that the corporate, government android metaphor died with Cobain in the 90s. An android is a mechanized being that has no free will. Well I also dont know if you know this but to be in the military, you have to volunteer. And I think volunteering is some form of free will, right? How did this happen? How did we get trapped in the sect of history where people are just absolutely the worst? Comments are closed.
