a blog by Big Red Here is the 2016 NBA Draft Order. 1.) So Philadelphia once again gets the number one overall pick, I'm sure they will be able to find some way to fuck this up. Maybe if were lucky they'll chose another guy with an injury like Embiid, and they'll be screwed for a few more years. I'm sure Ben Simmons and Brandon Ingram are pissed they might go to Philly. 2.) The Los Angeles Lakers received the number two pick this year. After having the worst regular season in Lakers franchise history, LA looks to bounce back by drafting a franchise type guy. I have a feeling that Simmons will go number one and Ingram will go at the second pick. While I don't think that either guy has the potential to immediately change a team, I do think they will help both teams with their size and athletic ability. 3.) The Boston Celtics have gotten the third pick in the draft thanks to our trade a few years back with the Brooklyn Nets. While I'm upset that we aren't in the number 1 or 2 spot, we still have a chance to get Buddy Hield, an elite shooter out of Oklahoma. While some are comparing him to the next Stephen Curry, that is absolutely not the case. There is no one you can compare to Curry, considering Stephen made over 400 3 pointers in the regular season.. There is going to a lot of talk about trading our draft picks leading up to the draft next month, however I have a feeling we will draft Hield and keep him. One of the Celtics biggest weaknesses is our outside shooting, and a guy like Buddy Hield could make a huge impact for the Celtics. 4.) The Phoenix Suns are lucky enough to get the 4th pick along with the 13th pick in the draft. After selecting Devin Booker last year, and watching him develop as a great NBA player, it will be very interesting to see what the Suns can bring to the table next season. I have a feeling they will be significantly better than they were this past season. 5. The Minnesota Timberwolves have received the 5th pick in the draft. With one of the youngest teams in the league, the Timberwolves look to add another solid college player to their line up after already owning the undisputed rookie of the year in Karl Anthony Towns. 6.) New Orleans Pelicans
7.) Denver Nuggets 8.) Sacramento Kings 9.) Toronto Raptors 10.) Milwaukee Bucks 11.) Orlando Magic 12.) Utah Jazz 13.) Phoenix Suns 14.) Chicago Bulls Comments are closed.
