Last night was a battle up and down hill for the full 60 minutes. (Literally up until the last minute). The game started out with a good tempo from the Boston Bruins, they came out chasing loose pucks effectively and meeting this physical St. Louis Blues team at their own level with the body. After the Blues scored the first goal of the game the Bruins didnt back down. they stepped up and got a quick goal off a sweet feed from John Michael-Liles to Loui Eriksson to make it 1-1, and a short time later David Krejci would make it 2-1 before the close of the period.

The Bruins have taken a massive fall from grace, where a little less than a month ago we were talking about how they were a first place in their division. To now we are talking about if we are even going to make the playoffs, it’s a terrifying thought. This is the time of the year where people from a fans perspective are looking for anyone and anything to blame. |
