Associated Press PHOENIX: A puppy landed on the wrong side of the law with the Phoenix police, or rather the underside of it. Police say the dog became stuck in the undercarriage of a patrol vehicle Wednesday. Sgt. Vincent Lewis says the canine run-in happened when an officer was doing afternoon patrol. The officer pulled over his Chevrolet Tahoe when the Chihuahua mix ran under the vehicle.
The animal refused to move for at least 20 minutes, even rejecting a hot dog. Animal control workers responded and got the dog out. Maricopa County Animal Care and Control spokeswoman Melissa Gable said Thursday the pup, who has been dubbed Tahoe, had no tag or microchip. If nobody claims the dog after 72 hours, she will be eligible for adoption. That pic is great. So cute, hes just trying to avoid the Arizona heat for a little while. Most likely this dog is a stray, no tag, no microchip. Sad to see such a cute dog out there on the streets. Especially that type of dog Chihuahuas are tiny they cant defend themselves on the mean streets of Phoenix. I hope either the owner claims this little guy or he gets adopted because a life of streets aint no life for a Chihuahua. What was this dumbass cop thinking obviously a dog wont eat a hot dog, dogs arent cannibals. Comments are closed.
