Nothing really to say about the "story". Of course, wierdo/scumbag move by Manning. I do not understand why a kid would do that, let alone a college student. But there was a settlement in court, The Manning Camp paid her. The story had been reported multiple times. What does anyone really know about him anyway. It's pretty obvious to see he is a walking billboard, and that just makes everything surrounding the guy odd. The HGH, the tea bagging. He puts his wifes name on his HGH shipments, lets be real. He rubs his crotch in women trainers face. He kinda seems like a guy who does not really respect women. A guy with a shady past, that is using marketability of athletic ability to hide or cast away any light into his personality. I don't know, I don't think a lot of people do. Maybe I'm wrong, but I don't think am. If this were to go to on trial for his lack of respect for women, I have two out of two pieces of evidence pointing my way. It's not because I don't like him as a player or any of the teams he's been or on, or soon will be on. I have said before that I didn't have a problem with him as a person, which if I could go back now I would not have said. I do have a problem with him as a person. I'm pretty sure that I had heard the story regarding this incident that occurred while Manning was at Tennessee, and I did also know (I think) that the reports first coming about the HGH said the packages had been delivered under Manning's wife's name. I guess I had forgotten about the Manning Tennessee incident, probably because it was settled in court.
I saw a couple of things on Barstool recently that have troubled me. It turns out people on TV and Movies are grubby attention whores. I hear a lot of "celebrities" speak as if they have a 10 carrot gold nugget stuck up their ass. Two specific stories about two entirely different people has kinda got me riled up. Cuba Gooding Jr., Rhonda Rhousey.
Apparently playing OJ Simpson on the Kardashian take of the OJ Simpson trial, Gooding Jr. took weeks to get out of the funk the role put him into. I haven't read a story on it, I literally just saw the headline on Barstool. Like I don't need to read anything about it. Let me guess, Cuba is method actor, which apparently everyone is. He dug himself deep into a pit of sorrow and lowliness to harness his inner OJ. Oh such a true artist at work. Painting a visual masterpiece in front of our eyes. Oh thank you Cuba Gooding Jr. for asking so much of yourself, for going further then you are contractually obligated. Who the fuck do you think you are? Your seriously going to do this Cuba Gooding Jr.? I mean, I didn't mind FX marketing the fuck out of whatever they want to call it, long shot of meaningless scene dramatic camera work and music. Probably the best directing and acting associated with the thing and the only actor in it was a dog. Not a great class for free agent quarterbacks but some noteworthy names that will be sought after by a few teams
I don't know what to say. Last night was the best slam dunk contest I have ever seen. I was out of my seat wildin' out with Nick Cannon with every Gordon and Lavine dunk. Those two guys killed Will Barton. He should just retire after that. I never want to see his face again. The amount of hype he himself created with his pre-dunk video and his entrance with the walking dead was overboard. Aaron Gordon did the same dunk as Barton, maybe just like a million times better though. If you didn't watch it, go watch it. start you guys off a lil slow
Its a game they should have won and they did, but it's still a impressive victory for LSU at home against #15 Texas A&M. Down by 8 to start the second half, Simmons, Blakeney, and Craig Victor surged in the second half to gain the lead. Hornsby also hit a couple of clutch shots midway through the second half. Someone who didn't contribute and has not been recently is Tim Quartermen. He fucked the OU game, spoiling a great upset win for the Tigers. It's hard to understand his game. Multiple times Quartermen would pass up open good shots to drive and launch up a contested lay up or pull up. After getting a offensive rebound, Quartermen got the ball at the top of the key, wide open. He took two pump fakes and allowed his defender to close out on him. Once his defender was in good position, he drove hard to hoop and threw up a puke-able take that did not even come close to the net. I'm pretty sure he didn't hit a shot in the first half.
Quartermen is a talented player he's just so hot and cold, it hurts. If LSU wants to get anywhere in the tournament they need Quartermen. "I have zero respect for people who don't respect me"
WHAT? What the fuck are you saying man? Heard someone say that while I was walking to the liquor store the other night. This has got to be some sort of paradox. I'm waiting for fucking Jake Gyllenhaal to come into frame with his twisty toy telling me he knows who the zodiac killer is. When robots eventually take over the world just say that to em and their operating system will implode. I have zero respect for people who don't have respect for people that don't respect them. If the closest liquor store wasn't next to a fucking Market Basket and I could walk there with headphones in, I would have never been subjected to such stupidity. And for that we thank you, eXCEpt this is less of a thanks then it is a please think before you speak. With Bergeron taking a night off the Bruins played sound defense to muster up a win in Minnesota. Typical Bruins win, beat the shit teams, lose to good ones. Minnesota was losers of seven in a row coming into the game this afternoon. At now 8 in a row, Minnesotins' have to be wondering what the fuck is happening to their team. The Wild made it the Western Conference Semi's two years in straight years, making the playoffs in the three straight. In the hockey world making the playoffs is not a grand achievement as it is in other sports like football, or baseball. Much like the NBA, over half of the teams make the playoffs and the lower seeds do not necessarily even need a positive win loss record. Minnesota is a team with a a few very good pieces like Zach Parise, Mikko Koivu, Ryan Sutter, Jonas Brodin as well as complementary pieces like the Goalie Devin Dubnyk, Charlie Coyle, Thomas Vanek, and Mikael Granlund. Talent wise, this team should be a top 8 in the NHL. The problems with them start that they are in the Western Conference where they have to play the NHL's top teams, they also do not have enough quality defensemen, and honestly who knows about Devin Dudnyk, had a hell of a season last year but that was the best statistical year of his career. What they could use is a big defensemen who can lay the wood and the set the tone physically. Minnesota is one of those teams that tries to solely rely on skating ability, Charlie Coyle is really the only player who can be effective playing with physicality.
People who hate politics, I don't know what to say to you. Politics bring us such great joy in life. What if we didn't have the human incarnation of muk (see photo) If you can't tell, the one on the right is from a game the kids on the street called Pokemon. If you don't know what Pokemon is, ask eyebrows down here
So I am not gonna beat a dead corpse, obviously boring game. I missed a few five minute intervals of the game and when I refocused nothing had changed.
